Radical Acts: Anthony R. Green

Anthony Green: Did music help to get her through the darkness?

Part workshop, part lecture, part performance, "Did music help to get her through the darkness?" centers around writer Harriet Jacobs (Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl, 1861) and her radical isolation. For this project, the audience will be challenged to imagine Jacobs's situation through performance participation.
