InLightXBrooklyn Exhibition

Curation & Lighting by Itohan Edoloyi
In collaboration with artists Nichole Washington and nicHi douglas.

May 21 - 30, 2021

This exhibition is the latest installment of an ongoing art project as part of the InLight Collective – focusing on the amplification of BIPOC voices through the mediums of light, visual art, and poetry.

Transcend X III draws from work that explores freedom of expression of self, inner spirituality and the process of healing. This installation serves to remind us about BIPOC stories which aren’t just accounts of painful experiences but rather of beauty and deep understanding. In this transformative space at JACK, we ask you to lose yourself in the emotions of a spatial environment and hone into the awareness of that experience.
