Ten X Ten
Grid making, map making, markings that etch a route of resistance. An outline to navigate this body through while carrying seven generations before and seven ahead.

About the artist
IV Castellanos
IV bridges abstract performance art, sculpture and group task based vignettes. Their body is trained through athleticism, labor and play. As an object maker and laborer the gaps in between preparation and production inform their choreographic decisions. The objects are temporary, crumble or are shattered purposefully, exposing value and productivity. This leads to the play of success and failure while using power tools or building structures or making actions with abstract end goals. The anchor is the futility of labor and generating an action without ‘purpose.’ They are a gender deficient Trans* Queer mx Indige POC.
